EVOLUTION OF MY PROTOTYPES AND MY MATERIAL RESEARCH
RICE
CLAY
PAPER
COTTON
TOUCH
I sarted to prototype with different material in aim to find different type of touch, to create differents feelings.
I asked two of my friend to test them, in order to see what kind of touch they were using for differents part of their face or body.

The piece of jewelry was a ring at the beginning, but after reflection I chose to represent my collective intelligence database by a flower and her roots in reference to the network of fungus. So the more logical shape I could give to the jewel was the same as my C.I, because this jewel is the base of the data collection. I started to draw it, I did a first try in clay and I painted it black but if was too much. I did an other drawing, and I was happy about it but paper was not enough for a jewel so I decided to make it in clay, paper and some piece of thread.Futhermore I decided to paint it in green because of the semantics of flower and the fungus network, I wanted to have a colour which was understandable representation of nature.

I wanted to create a small printer which was represented some of the values of my project, as sharing, receiving, giving. The semantics of hands are interesting for that, furthermore they are also a representation of the touch. I started to make one with other little 3D representation of a hand, a foot, and a face, but I changed my mind about my concept and I didn't need them anymore. The second and final one is just composed of the hand and its reserve of paper to print.
I wanted to print my message as shopping ticket.
I like their aesthetic, they are simple and efficient. I started to print on a simple printer paper and I understood that the touch of the paper was also a interesting part to develop in my reflexion. My second and third try were on a watercolor paper, softer and thicker.
I had the date of the message to had an other layer of legacy of my message. Theses poems could be keep as a memory of the correspondence.
The next step of my project was to prototypes each differents artefact I had to put in the kits.
I start by the glove, in plastic, paper, textile, and I finished by using a old I had in my room and I just re-transformed it.
I made the stress ball in fresh clay for my video, but the final aim was to have it n textile, with little plastic marble.
To create the scraf I sew cooton on one of my scarf. The cotton are representing the electronique sensors which are providing wait and warmness.
At this stage I just had to finish the last part of my concept which was the messenger kit. I wanted to represent the artefact which will communicate with all the other. I took inspiration of the project "Flulu", in one of our research card, and I created 12 little sensors in clay. In a further development I could imagine them in silicone.
